Two Fun Ways to Shop!

Shop our online store from the comfort of your home, or if you fancy interacting with one of our real, live (and genuine East Coast friendly) sales staff, drop by our brick and mortar shop in beautiful Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia.

The prices listed match those at our retail store. In the event of a discrepancy - typographical or otherwise - the pricing in our retail store shall be taken as the correct pricing. We reserve the right to bill or refund any difference in pricing that may occur as a result of a typographical error.

 

 

Methods of Payment

Online, we accept payments through Paypal, Visa and MasterCard which processed through our secure, encrypted, third party processor powered by Kamodo.  At our brick and mortar shop, we accept cash, debit, Visa and MasterCard, as well as gift cards. We are also happy to accept E-transfers - please send us a message on Facebook or phone our store if you would like to pay using an E-transfer.  

 

 

Taxes

Taxes are billed based on the destination location of the order, not the originating address. Gift card purchases are tax exempt. The following are the tax rates that apply to Canadian provinces and territories. 

 

  • Newfoundland and Labrador: 15%
  • Prince Edward Island: 14%
  • Nova Scotia: 15% *point of sale exemptions applicable on specific items
  • New Brunswick: 15%
  • Quebec: 5%
  • Ontario: 13% *point of sale exemptions applicable on specific items
  • Manitoba: 5%
  • Saskatchewan: 5%
  • Alberta: 5%
  • British Columbia: 5%
  • Northwest Territories: 5%
  • Nunavut: 5%
  • Yukon: 5%

*Point of sale exempt items include cloth diapers, diaper covers, baby and children’s clothing. These items are subject to 5% GST only.

US and International taxes will be calculated through Customs only. 

 

Currency

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. If you are ordering internationally, your credit card company will automatically convert your purchase from Canadian dollars to your local currency. Please check with your bank for current exchange rates as they change daily.  Also be aware that your credit card company may charge a transaction fee for purchases made in foreign currency. You should review your credit card agreement and make yourself aware of any additional charges you may incur.

 

Can I combine discount codes?

Nope, sorry. Only one discount code is applicable per transaction.
